A plague of zombies strikes at the Studio Movie Grill in Dallas
Zombies walk at the Studio Movie Grill in Dallas
The shamble was in celebration of a preview screening of the new movie, Zombieland.
Thanks to an ill-timed sudden rain event, the zombie walk planned to promote a preview screening of Zombieland at the Dallas Studio Movie Grill on Friday (Oct. 1) almost didn't happen.
But -- like a blessing from The Man in the Sky -- the driving rain came to an end at about 6:50 p.m., roughly the time that area zombies had planned to gather in front of the Blockbuster Video store on N. Central, prior to shambling as a living dead group around the parking lot and thence into the movie theater to see the show.
(Who knew zombies liked movies? Or pizza and beer, for that matter.)
The video begins with a glimpse of the downpour and ends with a sequence showing the zombies filing past to enter the theater.
Be sure to check out the momma zombie teaching her kid how to eat foot, and the Oxyclean zombie who's found a way to stay fresh as a daisy -- except for that whole rotting flesh thing.
And see if you can spot Hunter S. Thompson: gonzo undead journalist.
