League of Women Voters of Arlington to hold public forum on constitutional amendments
On Tuesday, Oct. 20, the Arlington League of Women Voters (LWVA) will host a public forum on the Nov. 3 constitutional amendments and Arlington ISD bond election at Westminster Presbyterian Church in Arlington.
Texas State Senator Wendy Davis will explain the constitutional amendments and information will be presented about the Arlington Independent School District bond election. Doors open at 6:45 p.m. There is no charge, and the public is invited.
The League of Women Voters of Arlington, a non-profit and non-partisan organization of volunteers, holds monthly public forums on issues of concern to the community and influences public policy through education and advocacy.
