US 67 in Cedar Hill to have lanes closed all Wednesday night to move electrical pole
CEDAR HILL One eastbound lane of FM 1382 at US 67 and one lane on the southbound frontage road of US 67 will be closed beginning at 11 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 7. The lane closure is expected to be opened at 5:30 a.m. Thursday; however, it may be as late as 7 a.m. for the work to be completed.
These lane closures are needed for Oncor to move an electrical pole at that intersection. At the same time the lanes are closed, electricity in the area will also be turned off affecting traffic signals and two restaurants in the area, Popeye’s Chicken, and Taco Bell. Local police will direct traffic through the traffic signals and the restaurants have been notified of the power outage.
Portable message boards and detour signs will be in place advising motorists of the lane closures. All work is weather permitting.
