Alleged University Park prostitute arrested again

UNIVERSITY PARK — An update comes from People Newspapers, who says University Park single mom, Cynthia Martinez, was arrested again for giving massages without a license. Prostitution charges are still pending from last month’s arrest involving an undercover officer. I guess in the UP, they mean business when they don’t like you.

Sharon Boyd at DallasArena.com goes a little further with her sharp tongued criticism of Martinez, the “seriously unattractive” hooker, and empathizes with those poor University Park neighbors have to live across the street “from that kind of trash”:

“Prostitution is not a victimless crime. A whorehouse can be almost as detrimental to a neighborhood as a crack house. A bunch of horndogs trolling your neighborhood on their way to or from a hooker tryst has a negative impact on your quality of life. When I first bought my Northwest Dallas home, the hookers from Harry Hines would bring their 'dates' to our quiet neighborhood in the hours between Midnight and 6:00 am. It was nothing to find used condoms right out on the street — ugh!

"The hookers and their 'dates' that used to frequent my neighborhood were not social climbers. They would have had to cleanup to be called trashy — ugh!

"You would expect a Park Cities hooker to be a classy looker. Ms. Martinez, the subject of the rare UP prostitution bust, certainly is not classy and seriously unattractive. She would have be a better fit in the old days when Harry Hines was hooker central. The DPD has really cleaned up things in the Harry Hines area, but Walnut Hill continues to have problems. None of the stuff we have to see in NW Dallas would be allowed in University Park.

"UP police officers have another charge to hit their ugly hooker with — not having a state mandated massage therapist license. Thanks to State Rep. Rafael Anchia, we have legislation that prohibits anyone from touching another person for money without a massage therapist license. The law was intended to put a crimp in the white slave trade that goes on in massage parlors. I doubt UP police officers have a single massage parlor in their jurisdiction, so that law probably is not high on their awareness zone. DPD officers out of Northwest Substation are all too familiar with massage parlors. I hope Martinez’ neighbors have seen the last of her. As funny as the situation is to read about, it’s not amusing to live across the street from that kind of trash. It’s not fun to live across the street from a house with ten men using it as an apartment house.”

I’d like to say innocent until proven guilty, but Martinez is now the favorite target of upscale neighbors. What did she expect? I’m not white and rich enough to live in University Park either. Martinez, if you want to say stick it to the neighbors and stay where are, you have a right to, you go girl. But you know it’s gonna be hell. You know they hate you. Hell, even bloggers who don’t live in your neighborhood are calling you a “whore.” (Not me!) Though I have plenty of whores in my neighborhood too -- the girls that let their stupid little dogs take a crap in the hallway, on the sidewalk, or pee on the wall! As a neighbor, a landlord, a renter, I know pissy neighbors can make your life hell and so can bad tenants. But I don’t think anyone would say anything to Martinez if she kept her business calls out of the house and her life on the DL like good University Park hookers do.

But I don’t think anyone would say anything to Martinez if she kept her business calls out of the house and her life on the DL like good University Park hookers do.

You forgot frequent visits to the D Mag Cosmetic health professionals....sure to keep the class in HP a$$...

Surely they didn't get her on her good side. She has to look better than that. The hookers on Cedar Springs were better looking, back-in-the-day!!! Does she, at least, 'las grandotas'?? just wondering.....

What tipped off these neighbors? the Lowriders playing War on their stereo, bouncing up and down, in the front yard? Gotta love those busybody neighbors, they're the best neighbors to have!!!The best security, out there!
