Former Assistant Dallas County District Attorney Todd Meier joins Shackelford, Melton & McKinley
DALLAS The Dallas law firm of Shackelford, Melton & McKinley, LLP, announced today the addition of Todd Meier as Of Counsel. A former assistant Dallas County district attorney, Meier counsels clients in the technology, manufacturing, financial services, commodities, and service industries on transactional and operational matters, as well as providing litigation expertise in courtroom trials.
Meier joins Shackelford, Melton & McKinley after more than 10 years at Todd Meier Investments of Addison, where he assisted clients in the completion of start-up and mid-size private equity transactions, including reviewing, analyzing and performing due diligence on investment prospects. Meier is a former member of the Addison City Council and previously served as the president and general manager of a trio of successful Dallas auto dealerships.

Meier is involved in numerous civic and charitable organizations including serving on the State Fair of Texas board of directors, in addition to work with the Salesmanship Club of Dallas, Addison Business Association, Addison Advocates, Greenhill School investment committee, Addison Arbor Foundation, and the Metrocrest Social Services board of directors.
