DiRoNA returns to Dallas to host Stars Above Texas 2009 Conference

After many years of being absent from the Dallas spotlight, DiRoNA (Distinguished Restaurants of North American) returns to host Stars Above Texas 2009 Conference in Dallas at The Rosewood Crescent Hotel on October 25-27.

The conference theme will capture the Southwest Texas spirit featuring Dallas’s favorite chef personalities: Kent Rathbun of Abacus, Jasper's, and Rathbun's Blue Plate Kitchen; Stephan Pyles of Stephan Pyles Restaurant; Tim Love of The Lonesome Dove Western Bistro; and Dean Fearing of Fearing's.

The three-day event will feature speakers such as Kay Bailey Hutchinson, U.S. state senator; Sid Cook, Master Cheese maker of Carr Valley Cheese; and Dawn Sweeney, CEO of National Restaurant Association. Event highlights include the conference kick-off night at the Nasher Sculpture Garden with celebrity chefs igniting attendees a taste of Texas.
