Kids at Dallas Studio Movie Grill get their hair styled like Astro Boy
... before getting a free preview of the movie.
Astro Boy hair stylings: Studio Movie Grill Dallas
DALLAS Kids who showed up at the Studio Movie Grill (Royal Lane location) on Sunday, Oct. 18 for a free preview screening of Astro Boy had a chance to get their hair styled like Astro Boy himself.
Courtesy of L.A. Looks styling gel (as applied by stylist Aurora Garcia), both boys AND girls had a chance to have goo applied to their coif in order to a) achieve the rough appearance of Astro Boy himself, and b) get a free T-shirt out of the deal.
Surprisingly, only about a dozen kids out of the hundred-some-odd attendees at the 3 p.m. show deigned to have the gel applied. Shucks, I almost went for it myself ... but film guy does have his dignity.
(Plus, they didn't have Astro Boy T-shirts in Xtra Large.)
The animated movie opens at North Texas theaters (and nationwide) on Friday, Oct. 23.

I would have my hair styled like Astro Boy. I used to have a similar style a few years ago in SF. It was the typical gay 'do.
