League of Women Voters of Richardson put proposed constitutional amendments on website
The League of Women Voters of Richardson website, www.lwvrichardson.org, has been updated with the Voters Guides covering the Texas Constitutional Amendment Election. November 3 is the date on which Texas voters will vote on 11 proposed amendments to the Texas Constitution. Interested voters can now download and print the latest version. Preprinted copies of the state Voters Guide will be available at the Richardson Library and the Civic Center.
Early voting for the November 3 general election begins October 19. For a sample ballot, to confirm your voter registration, to find your precinct number, early voting locations, and Election Day polling place, go to www.dalcoelections.org (Dallas County) and www.co.collin.tx.us/elections/electioninformation (Collin County).
On Election Day, November 3, polling places will be open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Identification and/or a voter registration card will be required for voting.
Other information on the website is a calendar of upcoming events, information about upcoming elections, candidate forums, programs, and general information for voters. You can also find information about the league, including forms for donating and/or joining.
