Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Fort Worth to host 2nd Annual Panther Club 5K
The Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Fort Worth and its young professionals philanthropic auxiliary, The Panther Club of Fort Worth, will host the 2nd Annual 5K race. The race will be held November 7, starting at 9 a.m. in Fort Worth's Trinity Park. All ages are welcome, and participants may bring strollers and leashed dogs.
Medals will be given to the top male and top female within each age group (ranging from 10 and under to 75+). Medals will also be awarded to the overall male winner, overall female winner, and masters winner. A large grand prize trophy will be awarded to the largest Boys & Girls Club team. There will be additional activities at the park for everyone to enjoy.
The event co-chairs are Meredith Garcia and Alicia Brandt, members of The Panther Club. Sponsors for the race are LifeSynch, Coca-Cola, BBVA Compass, Trinity Bank, and The Fort Worth Running Company.
Registration is $20 per participant for those received through October 26; $25 for those after October 26; $30 on race day. Groups of four or more can register for $15 per participant. All proceeds will benefit the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Fort Worth.
