Texas Toast Culinary Tours is new food/travel outfit from Fort Worth writer June Naylor
Texas Toast Culinary Tours is a tour company created by Fort Worth writer June Naylor and designer Cynthia Wahl, to do guided tours of dining, chef, and authentic food/wine experiences in Texas.
They're planning a variety of day and evening eating tours around town called "Feeding Frenzy" that give guests a chance to eat one small course, with a special wine or cocktail pairing, at three different places and provide the chance to meet the chef or food-and-wine staff and chat with them about what inspires them and what goes into their work.
The first event is An Evening with Grady Spears, a four-course meal at Grady's that celebrates the new cookbook, Cooking the Cowboy Way, by Grady Spears with June Naylor.
They'll offer half-, full-, and multi-day tours, described on their website. Packages can include lodging, food, and ground transportation. Email texastoastculinarytours@yahoo.com.
