Dallas attorney Jim Chester elected to South Texas College of Law Alumni Association Board
DALLAS Dallas attorney J.F. (Jim) Chester, a shareholder at Cowles & Thompson PC, has been elected to a three-year seat on the 21-member South Texas College of Law Alumni Association Board of Directors.
“Many lawyers can thank the South Texas College of Law for giving them the foundation for success,” says Chester, who earned his law degree in 1997. “I am proud to be on the list of alumni of this school, and I am even prouder to have been asked to serve on the board of directors. Every South Texas graduate owes a debt of gratitude to the school, and I look forward to helping further the efforts of the association and the school.”

In addition to his work at the firm, Chester teaches courses on International Trade Law and International Business Transactions as an adjunct professor of law at Baylor University Law School. He also serves on the Board of Directors for the Housing Crisis Center of Dallas.
