Majesty’s opens in Flower Mound’s Parker Square
Bringing biscuits, entertainment, Sunday brunch.
FLOWER MOUND On September 18, Majesty's Inspirational Dinner Club celebrated its grand opening in Flower Mound’s Parker Square on Cross Timbers Road between Morris Road and Garden Ridge Boulevard.
This full-service restaurant features an extensive menu for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The gourmet coffee shop opens at 8 a.m. and showcases 29 varieties of biscuit entrees, including a Brisket Biscuit, Butter and Honey Biscuit, and Red Pepper Gravy Biscuit. Commuters can stop by for a quick breakfast or pick up biscuits and coffee for the office. Telecommuters, students, and shoppers can enjoy the restaurant’s coffee lounge atmosphere on Tuesdays through Saturdays throughout the morning and afternoon, while staying connected with free Wi-Fi.
The lunch and dinner menu also features a gourmet take on traditional favorites. Appetizers include Kobe Sliders and Tuna Cubes, while soup and salad standouts include the Spinach and Pear Salad and White Chili. Signature main entrees include gourmet burgers, classic sandwiches, as well as Twice-Seared Filet Mignon and Poached and Seared White Sea Bass. Live music accompanies the dining experience every Tuesday through Thursday evening, as well as at lunch on Wednesdays. Various styles of music will be showcased, including classical, traditional, pop, and jazz.
"Majesty's is a unique place where you will experience exquisite American cuisine for your body, world class music for your soul, and an atmosphere of peace for your spirit. When you come to Majesty's, you will see, feel, and hear something different," according to Terry Sullivan, one of three owners in Majesty’s. “Imagine dining with friends you never met and family who are not related.”
Majesty’s anchor entertainment, Terry MacAlmon, is featured every weekend starting at 7 p.m. on Friday and Saturday evenings. MacAlmon, a concert pianist, vocalist, and composer, who is also an owner of Majesty’s, has inspired millions in live concerts, television, and radio both domestically and abroad. “MacAlmon’s music has a way of causing you to pause and reflect, to unwind, to feel joy, to feel sadness,” observes third restaurant owner, David Wang. “Just close your eyes and really listen. And then open yourself up and let the music inspire you.” Opening acts include comedians and other musicians and performers. The dinner show includes a signature three-course meal for $30 (excluding drinks). Majesty’s weekend dinner shows have limited seating; advance reservations are required.
Majesty’s will polish off each week with a sumptuous Sunday brunch served between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. Items featured include Sullivan’s Prime Rib, omelet and waffle stations, trays of breakfast meats, sweet breads, and fresh fruit, as well as a variety of changing side dishes.
For social and professional functions, Majesty’s offers a Private Room that can hold up to 30 people. Majesty’s will also take part in programs featured at Parker Square’s two-acre park and band-shell gazebo. Additional information, menus, and performance schedules are available at the website.
