— The Design Industries Foundation Fighting AIDS: DIFFA recently announced the Style Council Ambassadors and Honorary Chairs for DIFFA 2010, to be held at the Margot and Bill Winspear Opera House on March 3, 2010.

DIFFA Trustees and DIFFA 2010 co-chairs David Hess and Carol Quist made the announcement at a recent soiree at The Meyerson Symphony Center, adding that Ellen and Don Winspear will serve as honorary chairmen of the highly anticipated fundraiser.

Veletta Forsythe Lill, executive director of the Dallas Arts District, serves as the 2010 Style Council Ambassador Chair and longtime DIFFA supporter Ana Pettus is Host Committee Chair.

Style Council Ambassadors are Cordell Adams, MD, Baylor Ophthalmology; Clifton Cox, MD, general surgery; Kelly Cox, Forgotten Diamonds Foundation Partner; Bryan Curran, VP Edelman; Sara Fay Egan, director of weddings, Todd Events; Rebecca Hallam, jewelry designer; Lexi Hammonds, founder, GlamaSquad; Joseph Hernandez, Northern Trust, regional CRA/community development manager; Larry Lane, fitness specialist and spa consultant, Jo Marie Lilly, retired; Ed and Gable Shaikh, Hadleigh’s; Court Westcott, Westcott LLC; Kameron Westcott, dog clothing designer; Paige Westhoff, Witt/Kiefer search consultant.

“This panel of Style Council Ambassadors was selected for their valued commitment to raising awareness of the fundraiser and money for North Texas AIDS service organizations who provide direct care to those living with HIV and AIDS,” says David Hess, DIFFA trustee and co-chair.

“DIFFA 2010 will be full of surprises,” added Carol Quist. “We are so excited to have our event in the Winspear Opera House. DIFFA 2010 is moving in a new direction -- expect live entertainment as well as an unforgettable evening of fashion, architecture, art, and design -- a celebration of design excellence.”
