Ocean Prime on Cedar Springs in Dallas to open November 12
On the corner of Cedar Springs Road and Pearl Street.
DALLAS Ocean Prime will officially open for dinner November 12 through November 15 and will open for lunch and dinner on November 16.
A Cameron Mitchell Restaurants' employee since 2005, General Manager Brandon Davis makes his debut to Dallas from Tampa's Ocean Prime location. Born and raised in Northville, Michigan, Brandon has always had a passion for food. Throughout his childhood, food always brought friends and families together to share great memories, and that is exactly the principle he plans to follow in managing Ocean Prime Dallas.
Combining a sophisticated blend of Filipino, Pan Asian, and American influences, Executive Chef Sonny Pache has created a menu that spotlights traditional and inventive new classics from both a great seafood restaurant and a conventional steakhouse, including:
· "Surf N Turf:" diver scallops and slow braised short ribs
· Blackened Snapper with wilted spinach and jalapeno corn tartar
· Alaskan King Crab Ravioli with Asiago cheese and roasted tomato cream
· Bone-In Filet: 12-ounce filet prepared with housemade seasoning and broiled at 1,200 degrees
Lunch will be served at Ocean Prime Monday through Friday from 11:30 a.m. to 4 p.m., and the menu will feature signature salads and sandwiches, as well as prime specialties, such as:
· Asian Tuna Salad: ginger chili-rubbed tuna, vegetables, and toasted almonds in a rice wine vinaigrette
· Chicken Chopped Salad: roasted chicken, asparagus, goat cheese dates, and corn in a sherry vinaigrette
· Prime French Dip: shaved rib eye, caramelized onion, provolone cheese, creamy horseradish, and au jus
· Colossal Shrimp Sauté with angel hair pasta and Tabasco cream sauce
In addition to the delicious cuisine, Ocean Prime's lively cocktail lounge will feature piano music nightly and 12 signature cocktails, including the popular Berries & Bubbles, which combines Belvedere Cytrus Vodka, marinated blackberries, housemade sour, and Domaine Chandon Brut.
Ocean Prime will serve its unique and refreshing cocktails for "Prime Hour" every Monday through Friday from 4 to 6 p.m. in the bar and lounge, where signature cocktails, wine, and appetizers will be specially priced.
