Tre Amici in Dallas announces new chef, management team
DALLAS Nearing their one year anniversary, Tre Amici Prime Steakhouse and Seafood celebrates the quality and class brought to the table by Chef De Cuisine Chris Hughes, General Manager Ken Branstetter, Manager Vito Calo, and Bar Manager Danny Clopp.
"My goal at Tre Amici is to create a warm, welcoming environment for our guests and take a very good menu and make it a great steakhouse menu," Ken Branstetter states.
Branstetter's restaurant and hospitality career includes management roles at Ounce Prime Steakhouse and Three Forks, and he's proud of the cohesive team that's designed an even stronger menu and more amiable ambiance than what garnered a four star rating from the Dallas Morning News.
Chris Hughes is the culinary magic behind the counter and under the toque. Cooking since age 13 alongside his father in Shreveport and after 15 years of professional training (including a Sous Chef position at BLT Steakhouse), Chris serves the title of Chef De Cuisine with a sincere passion for food with soul. "Eating is seeing, seeing is believing" is Chris' motto.
Manager Vito Calo, a Bari, Italy native, brings 10 years of experience in the Dallas dining scene to Tre Amici including management at Mi Piaci, Riccardi's and Ounce Prime Steakhouse. His heritage and extensive background assisted in the selection of over 70 bottles of Italian wine and helps ensure the Italian menu items grant an authentic flavor and presentation.
Titled the "finest bartender in the world and Texas" by work associates, Danny Clopp knows how to mix a cocktail and mix with the crowd. His restaurant and bar industry savvy has taught him to serve a drink with style and his undeniably contagious energy greets each customer as a life long friend.
The comprehensive menu reflects the standard of quality demanded from the Tre Amici team with prime steaks, wet-aged for 40 days, and fresh seafood, flown in daily. In addition to all prime steaks, the menu's Italian accents further the distinct flavors and dining experience offered in Tre Amici's refined yet relaxed dining environment.
Select new menu items:
Prime Beef Carpaccio Served with Horseradish Parmesan Aioli, Capers and Red Onions on Crostinis
Piatto de Formaggi Served with Pistachios, Kalamata Olives and Crostini
Maytag Blue Cheese Stuffed Filet (11oz) Center Cut Filet Stuffed with Maytag Blue Cheese
Herb Crusted Haddock Served with Cherry Tomatoes and Risotto of the Day

Two things pop up here with this presser:
IF Danny Clopp's "undeniably contagious energy greets each customer as a life long friend" could someone please check him out on Facebook and see if the facts match the hype?
Secondly, what's "Eating is seeing, seeing is believing" supposed to telegraph? Are blind people banned from the place?
