The Rocky Horror Tribute Band

Oso Closo -- Friday, October 30 at Hailey's

What better way to kick off your Halloween weekend than at Hailey's Club on Friday night with the musical extravaganza of The Rocky Horror Tribute Band? There will be two shows by the group on Friday with the always outstanding Oso Closo sandwiched in between.

Out of all the places in town with things going on this Friday, I doubt that you will find a more entertaining place to be than Hailey's. Last year I was there pretty much all weekend and had a blast. The Rocky Horror Band is going to make this Friday an affair not to miss!!! And Oso Closo is one of the best bands you will ever see in Denton!

Big Daddy Alright -- Saturday, October 31 at Dan's Silver Leaf

Halloween night at Dan's Silver Leaf features a musical show with Big Daddy Alright. They are a big band style group with a funky edge to them and will make Halloween night a ton of fun for the patrons of Dan's this weekend.

I think it is important to also inform you that there is an incredible artist playing at Dan's on Friday night as well. His name is Salim Nourallah and he is absolutely amazing. So if you happen to find yourself craving some great indie music Friday night or some Halloween fun on Saturday, head out to Dan's!

Shaolin Death Squad, The Killhawks, and The Spectacle -- Saturday, October 31 at The Boiler Room

This is going to be another fun one at The Boiler Room. Four bands will dress up and play the tunes of four legendary rock groups. We have the Shaolin Death Squad covering Mr. Bungle, The Killhawks covering AC/DC, The Spectacle covering Spinal Tap, and House Harkonnen covering Nirvana.

What a cool idea, and what fun it should be. I feel comfortable guaranteeing that this is the only place in town you will be able to hear Spinal Tap songs being played along side Nirvana live. It's going to be a blast, and I will be there all night! You should too!
