Photo gallery: Lights Out at the Wax Museum makes Grand Prairie goblins come to life
GRAND PRAIRIE Louis Tussauds Palace of Wax Ripley's Believe It Or Not! is scary enough with the lights on. So at Lights Out at the Wax Museum at its Grand Prairie location, all those wax figurines came to life with spooky music and real goblins lurking.
Photographer Elliott Muñoz anxiously awaited as museumgoers crept around corners only to be spooked on the other side. Most of the exhibit is in complete darkness, including the eerie room with a girl standing sternly behind a prison gate. (See photo gallery.)
The 2,400 square foot room of mirrors taunted its entrants, many of who got lost in the confusion. And as with all good haunted houses, there were some people so spooked they were reduced to screams and tears. Happy Halloween!
