Dallas Arboretum to present 2009 Cool Thursdays concert series
This popular event will take place at the Arboretum's Martin Rutchik Concert Stage amid beautiful, seasonal fall colors.
This year's Cool Thursdays series returns to the Dallas Arboretum for its fourth fall season from September 10 to October 29. This popular event will take place at the Arboretum's Martin Rutchik Concert Stage amid beautiful, seasonal fall colors. Performances begin each week at 7:30 p.m. with gates opening at 6 p.m.
Concert-goers can listen to popular bands perform rock-n-roll tributes, pops, jazz, and big band sounds. Pack a picnic or cooler and beverages of your choice or take advantage this year of the Pre-Cool Thursdays Wine Flights at the DeGolyer Cafe, available from 4-7 pm. Reservations are required for the Wine Flights and are available by calling (214)-515-6610 or email qbartholomew@dallasarboretum.org.
Outside food and beverages are permitted. Pre-purchased entrees are available from Highland Park Cafeteria. Visit their website for more information. Food from Gil's Elegant Catering and Paciugo Italian Gelato are available for purchase at the concert site.
A limited number of season passes can be purchased by both members and non-members for the entire fall Cool Thursdays Concert Series, sponsored by Park Place Motorcars. Purchasing a season pass guarantees admission to sold out shows! Close-in parking passes for the gravel lot close to the stage are available for $25 when a season pass is purchased. One pass per person. Passes may be purchased at www.dallasarboretum.org or call the Cool Thursday's hotline at (214) 515-6518.
