Mr. Knowles joins the firm as Of Counsel, and will work in the firm’s banking, corporate and public finance, bankruptcy, energy, and real estate groups. He brings an extensive background representing senior lenders, credit enhancers, equity sponsors and businesses in complex domestic and international financings. He joins Shackelford, Melton & McKinley from the Dallas office of DLA Piper LLP. He earned his law degree from the University of Kansas School of Law in 1981.
