First Dallas-area branch of Mandola’s Market to go into Arlington Highlands center
Mandola's Market, the fast-casual Italian-market concept founded in Austin that's expanding to the Dallas area this year, will open its first area branch in Arlington Highlands in November.
It'll take over a space previously occupied by a Bravo restaurant. (Boy, that wasn't there long.) Veteran Dallas restaurateur Larry Lavine, best known for having created Chili's Bar & Grill, told these folks he wants to open five or six local branches and expand the concept nationally. He previously stated that he'd be opening three to four branches locally.
Among the great things Mandola's will serve: homemade Italian pastries, desserts, and gelato.

Wow went there today and we were so disappointed. They could have warned us. It has only been a couple of weeks since last there. So are all the Bravo stores closed? Did they go bankrupt? Does their closing reflect on their friends PF Chang's? I hope not. So SAD for anyone to have to close. The waiters at Bravo we awesome. The restaurants that I wish would go away in the Highland's are. Kincaids's does not even match the one in Fort Worth. The Keg is good , but a little to expensive. Hoffbrau awful. Gloria's bad. I can't believe Bravo's is gone. I never had a bad meal there. Went there at least once a month. Hubby loved their pizza. I loved everything I ever ate there. Chili's I do not like so not sure I would even try their Italian place replacing Bravo's . Thanks for your letting me vent here!!!!!
