Ringo’s Pub open now in Plano’s Shops at Legacy, Gingerman to open in November

The upshot being: a whole lot more beer.

— Lots more beer at the Shops at Legacy: Ringo's Pub, a traditional UK-style tavern, is open on Kincaid, behind Robb & Stucky, serving fish & chips and etcetera.

And in November, a new branch of The Gingerman will open in the same building as the Angelika Film Center, next to St Bernard Sports and Taco Diner, as confirmed by Gingerman management.

The Gingerman is beloved among beer aficionados for its huge selection of brews on tap and its convivial environment; Gingerman management is aiming for November 20 for an opening date.

Ringo's, which has the whole wooden-booths vibe, comes from the same guy who owns Zen Addison Circle, and Zen Austin Ranch. It has a late-night menu but is open for lunch, too.

I would love to comment on this story, too bad this awful full page ad is stopping me. When did this site become as sleazy as the DMN?

Snap! Looking forward to Gingerman.

I play softball out yonder and the lack of decent places to enjoy a good beer after games is troubling.

It's off of Parkwood, just south of Tennyson, north of Spring Creek. The Police also have a storefront in The Shops of Legacy but I haven't paid attention to where it is.
