Concert preview: Motorhead at the Palladium Ballroom in Dallas (September 19)
This is the only band that punks and headbangers can agree on and with good merit. 30 years of speed, power, and take-no-prisoners approach have netted Motorhead a large and worldwide following from Dave Grohl to Mick Jones (The Clash).
Motorhead is led by the infamous Lemmy Kilmister, who is the equivalent of the pope of rock and roll and a living testament that Wild Turkey and Coke will keep your corpse upright. The list of songs is endless: "Ace of Spades," "Stone Deaf Forever," "Iron Fist," "Bomber," "Dr. Rock," and on and on. It's still the most street-level band in the world and the one band that all must see and hear once before you die.
Check out No Sleep Til’ Hammersmith to hear what a live album should sound like. As the shirt reads, Motorhead: Louder Than Everything Else. **Matt Sorum of Guns and Roses/Velvet Revolver fame is filling in for Mikey Dee on the drums.

Jon Ostrowski, says:
I saw Motorhead at the Aragon Ballroom (Chicago) in the 80's. Opening I think for someone like Nazareth......Motorhead rocked.....just some good old day syndrome.
