DALLAS Staff and students from Dallas Independent School District’s Roger Q. Mills Elementary School, along with The Heart of America Foundation and Target Volunteers, will celebrate the unveiling of its redesigned school library at noon, Friday, Sept. 18.
As part of the Target Volunteers School Library Makeover program, Roger Q. Mills Elementary School was one of 16 schools across the country to receive a library makeover this summer, including new books, eco-friendly design elements, furniture, shelving, carpet, and reading corners.
More than 200 students, staff, community members and volunteers will attend the unveiling to witness the library’s change.
The school is located at 1515 Lynn Haven Ave.
