Dallas firm Gibson, McClure, Wallace & Daniels attorneys ranked among Texas’ Best Lawyers

DALLAS — The Dallas-based law firm of Gibson, McClure, Wallace & Daniels, L.L.P., announced today that name partners Wade L. McClure and Ruth Ann Daniels have earned spots on the 2009 Texas Super Lawyers listing.

Mr. McClure is highlighted among the state’s top business litigators, and Ms. Daniels is featured among Texas’ leading labor & employment attorneys. This marks the sixth year that both attorneys have earned the Texas Super Lawyers honor.

To compile the annual listing, Texas Super Lawyers editors gather nominations from more than 70,000 attorneys from across the state. A panel of lawyers chosen by the editors assists with final selections, and fewer than 5 percent of the attorneys in Texas are honored each year.

Mr. McClure represents clients in a variety of business litigation, including contract disputes, fraud, breach of fiduciary duty, non-compete agreements and trade secrets litigation. He also counsels companies and individuals in connection with corporate governance issues involving the Sarbanes-Oxley Act of 2002. He is Board Certified in Civil Trial and Personal Injury Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization, and Board Certified by the National Board of Trial Advocacy in Civil Trial Law.

Ms. Daniels has more than 20 years experience as a trial lawyer, focusing her practice on management-side employment litigation. Her experience includes defending management in sexual harassment claims; age, race and sex discrimination allegations; wrongful termination matters; and cases involving alleged violations of the Americans With Disabilities Act and the Family Medical Leave Act.
