0

— A total of 28 attorneys from the Dallas office of Gardere Wynne Sewell LLP have earned selection to the 2009 Texas Super Lawyers list.

Of those selected to the 2009 list, 26 of the attorneys have been included each of the seven years the list has been compiled. Partner Thomas A. Hagemann received additional recognition this year, being honored among the “Top 100 Lawyers in Houston.”

The Gardere attorneys named to this year’s list were included based on their work in 21 unique practice areas: antitrust litigation, appellate, bankruptcy & creditor/debtor rights, business litigation, business/corporate, civil litigation defense, class action/mass torts, construction/surety, white-collar criminal defense, employment & labor, employment litigation/defense, environmental, estate planning & probate, family law, insurance coverage, intellectual property, intellectual property litigation, mergers & acquisitions, real estate, securities & corporate finance, and tax.

Texas Super Lawyer selections are based on peer nominations made by more than 70,000 attorneys from across the state. A panel of lawyers chosen by the Texas Super Lawyers editors assist with the final selection. Fewer than 5 percent of the state’s attorneys were chosen for this honor.
