Dallas attorney Angel Reyes honored as one of Texas’ top attorneys
DALLAS Attorney Angel Reyes of Dallas’ Reyes Bartolomei Browne has earned a spot among Texas’ top attorneys in the 2009 Texas Super Lawyers list published in Texas Monthly magazine.
This marks the second consecutive year Mr. Reyes has been highlighted among the top business litigators in Texas.
“Texas has a tremendous legal tradition, and it is a great honor to be considered among the state’s best lawyers,” says Mr. Reyes. “I am incredibly flattered that attorneys I work with, and sometimes against, think enough of my work to include me among the top attorneys in Texas.”
To compile the Texas Super Lawyers listing, more than 70,000 lawyers from across the state were asked to nominate attorneys they viewed as the best in the legal profession. The judging process continued with rigorous screening by a blue-ribbon panel of lawyers, and the final Texas Super Lawyers honorees represent fewer than 5 percent of all Texas attorneys.
In 2008, the Texas Diversity Council presented Mr. Reyes with the DiversityFIRST award, which recognizes those who promote diversity, inclusion, cultural understanding and human and civil rights. He currently serves on the board of directors for the Dallas Area Rapid Transit Authority, Greater Dallas Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, United Way of Metropolitan Dallas, Texas Trial Lawyers Association, and Dallas Trial Lawyers Association.
Mr. Reyes earned his Masters in Business Administration from the Rawls School of Business at Texas Tech University, after earning his law degree from the University of Michigan Law School and his undergraduate degree from the University of Kansas.
