Dallas attorney Daniel Sheehan highlighted among Texas’ top attorneys

DALLAS — Dallas attorney Daniel Sheehan has been selected by other lawyers as one of the state’s top attorneys in the 2009 Texas Super Lawyers list.

The annual Texas Super Lawyers listing appears in the October issues of Texas Monthly magazine and Texas Super Lawyers magazine, a publication co-produced by the publishers of Texas Monthly and Law & Politics Media Inc.

This marks the seventh consecutive Texas Super Lawyers honor for Mr. Sheehan, founder of Dallas’ Daniel Sheehan & Associates, LLP, who has been recognized on the listing each year since it was created in 2003. He is recognized again in this year’s listing based on his work in legal malpractice cases.

To compile the Texas Super Lawyers list, nominations were solicited from the more than 70,000 attorneys across the state. A blue-ribbon panel of attorneys assisted Super Lawyers editors with final selections, and fewer than 5 percent of all Texas attorneys earned the prestigious designation.

Mr. Sheehan is Board Certified in Civil Trial Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization. He regularly handles trials and appeals in state and federal courts, including cases before the Supreme Court of Texas and the U.S. Supreme Court.
