Dallas firm McCurley Orsinger home to seven Texas Super Lawyers honorees

DALLAS — The Dallas family law firm of McCurley Orsinger McCurley Nelson & Downing, L.L.P., announced today that seven firm attorneys have earned spots among the state’s top legal counsel the 2009 Texas Super Lawyers listing.

Once again, partners Mike McCurley, Richard R. Orsinger, Mary Johanna McCurley, Keith M. Nelson, R. Scott Downing, and John E. Alexander, along with associate Brad M. LaMorgese, were highlighted on the annual listing of the premier attorneys in Texas.

Five firm partners received special recognition this year, with Orsinger featured among the state’s Top 10 lawyers and McCurley included among the Top 50 women attorneys in Texas. McCurley, McCurley, and Downing each were recognized among the Top 100 lawyers in the state, and Nelson was highlighted among the Top 100 in DFW.

To compile the Texas Super Lawyers listing, nominations were solicited from more than 70,000 attorneys across Texas. A blue-ribbon panel of lawyers chosen by the Texas Super Lawyers editors then assisted with final selections before naming fewer than 5% of the state’s attorneys to be included in the final list.
