“We are excited about welcoming Tony to the firm,” says Cowles & Thompson Managing Shareholder Chuck Green. “He is an exceptional attorney with a unique and diverse legal background. His expertise not only will complement the work we are already doing, but also add an entirely new dimension in some areas.”

Mr. Mallers’ practice focuses on construction and family law in Denton and Collin counties. He joins Cowles & Thompson with more than 20 years of experience working with corporate and individual clients in matters involving litigation, real estate, probate and criminal matters.

As a long-time solo practitioner in Plano, he has earned the respect of his clients and peers throughout North Texas for his “full service” approach. His work ranges from high-profile business and corporate matters involving breach of contracts, commercial evictions and deceptive trade practices, to personal matters such as divorce, physician directives, criminal defense and probate matters for individual clients.

“Throughout my career, I’ve always worked to put the needs of my clients first,” says Mr. Mallers. “I see that same focus here at Cowles & Thompson, and that is what attracted me to the firm. I look forward to working with this group of attorneys, all of whom I hold in high regard.”

Mr. Mallers earned his law degree from the Southern Methodist University Dedman School of Law in 1987, following his graduation from Indiana University in 1984.

Cowles & Thompson, P.C., is a full-service law firm with offices in Dallas and Tyler, Texas.
