Plano police still looking for driver of a silver or gray Honda van who asked child to get in
PLANO On September 25, 2009 at approximately 8:10 a.m., Plano police officers responded to an investigation on the 6500 block of Medalist Circle.
Upon arrival, officers contacted a male adult who advised that his 13-year old younger brother had been contacted by an unknown male driver of a silver van with tinted windows. The driver of the van asked the child to get in the van. The victim immediately left the area, and upon arriving at his home, reported this incident to his brother, who notified the police. Patrol officers thoroughly searched the area but were unable to locate the van at that time.
Police are actively searching for a silver or gray Honda van with dark tinted windows. The suspect in this incident is male with no discernible accent. The vehicle was last seen on Rainier Road, north of Spring Creek Parkway.
While the circumstances are similar to an incident which occurred on September 22, 2009, investigators believe they are not related.
The investigation is currently on-going.
