League of Women Voters of Arlington to hold dessert and wine/liqueur tasting
On Saturday, October 10, the Arlington League of Women Voters (LWVA) will host a fundraiser “Perfect Pairings” – Desserts & Wine/Liqueur Tastings at 7 p.m. at Blue Danube European Restaurant in Pantego.
The wines and liqueurs will be introduced by Escoffier Scott Hurst. The desserts will include Godiva chocolate cake, strawberries & cream, apple strudel, and cheesecake. Non-alcoholic beverages, coffee and tea will also be served. Tickets are $30 a person and can be purchased online at www.lwvarlington-tx.org or by check payable to LWVA and sent to LWVA, P.O. BOX 127, Arlington, TX, 76004-0127. The public is invited but reservations are required by Tuesday, Oct. 6.
