See all Food and Wine events
Friday, it's kibbee and kafta. Saturday, it's beer. Now that's what I call a weekend.
The week's top picks:
Friday
Not just kibbee and kafta, but also grape leaves, hummus, and tabbouli. Bring the kids, as there is a children's play area, as well as live entertainment by Farah Farah.
Saturday
Beer Documentary + Free Beer Samples
Part of the 10 Day Cyclesomatic Festival is this presentation at Eno's Tavern by New Belgium Brewing of the documentary Beer Wars. Free beer samples and a discount to all who bicycle to the show.
Monday
Martinis, of course. MacAllan single-malt scotch. A three-course dinner, and who else but Ricki Derek and the Main St. Trio to provide entertainment. Dress code: Black tie.
Tuesday
A cross-section of Arlington's finest restaurants will offer all the samples you can eat. Theatre Arlington’s youth touring group will perform. Auctions and prizes, too!
Wednesday
Pinkies up, everyone, for this series of classes offered by the Crow Collection and The Cultured Cup. You'll get a tea tasting and a head-full of information about the role of tea in Asian society.
