DALLAS International Film Festival announces 2010 competition winners, fetes honorees
The ballroom of the Palomar Hotel hosted the gala dinner and awards ceremony.
Organizers of the DALLAS International Film Festival held their gala awards ceremony last night in the ballroom of the Hotel Palomar. (Stay tuned for complete photo coverage of the red carpet held prior to the event.)
Event attendees included DALLAS Star Award recipient John Lee Hancock (dir. The Blind Side) who presented the Target Filmmaker Awards. Dallas Star Awards were also handed out to Frank Darabont (dir. The Shawshank Redemption) and cinematographer Wally Pfister (The Dark Knight). The Tex Avery Animation Award was bestowed upon Pete Docter (Up).
