Vote for local musicians in NPR’s The Best Music Of 2010

NPR picks their favorite 50.

In this year's The Best Music Of 2010 on All Songs Considered on NPR, you can vote for up to 10 of your favorites from now until December 14.

We've got at least four musicians (and their respective albums) that hail from the D-F-Dub on the list:

And seems we've been doing our jobs right, because we have album reviews of all four, as linked above.

Did we miss any North Texas musicians on NPR's list?

So when did Pegasus cross over from journalism to cheerleading for local musicians?

Sarah Blaskovich, staff:

Kirby, the fact that there are four North Texas musicians on the list (and we are a North Texas news website) is notable. You can vote for whoever you'd like, but it's my job to tell you who those local musicians are.

Teresa Gubbins, staff:

truthfully, Pegasus has been a musician cheerleading site pretty much from Day One. it's only been in the past couple of years that we've morphed into the paragon of journalism we are now

Yeah -- I thought that was the point and news kept getting in the way.

Seriously-- and as a performing arts advocate, I'm 100% for that.

Oh well. Carry on. But I'll vote for whomever I like.
