Eating and drinking events in Dallas-Fort Worth, February 3-9

A Super Bowl option where you can eat, not just drink.

We're coming up on one of the biggest dining events of the year: Valentine's Day, and if you're looking for that kind of event, check out this story. For non-Valentine's Day action, read on:

Thursday

Savor the Arts Wine Dinner at Tre Amici

This is the first of a quarterly series of dinners that'll introduce works from local and international artists via a gallery within the restaurant, throughout the dining room and bar, for guests to peruse or purchase, with a charity to benefit from the proceeds. Choice of filet, strip, or sea bass, plus salad or bisque, and choice of dessert including their excellent limoncello cheesecake.

Friday

February Friday Night Flight

Nana continues its monthly "Friday Night Flight" series in 2010, and it's the best deal in town. You get three red wines -- pinot noir, syrah, and cabernet sauvignon -- as recommended by wine steward Russell Burkett paired with three tastings from Executive Chef Anthony Bombaci.

Saturday

The Foods of Passion Cooking Class

Stephan Pyles will demonstrate hot dishes that you can perhaps cook at home, perhaps on Valentine's Day.

Sunday

Super Bowl All-You-Can-Eat Buffet

For $25, you can graze to your heart's content as the game blazes away on the Boardroom's big-screens.

Monday

Sigel's Wine Dinner at Urbano Cafe

With only 36 seats, this thing is sure to sell out and for good reason: It's great food and killer wines.
