Legal Marketing Association’s Southeastern Chapter selects its 2010 Board of Directors


The two were Keith Wewe and Michael Webb, from Dallas.

The Legal Marketing Association’s (LMA) Southeastern Chapter is pleased to announce its board of directors for 2010. The Southeastern Chapter is the largest in the international organization of LMA, covering 10 states and serving nearly 500 members throughout the region. The new board of directors is:

Monica Smith, president, is a senior account supervisor with Jaffe PR, and is based in Orlando, Fla.

Dave Poston, immediate past president, is the president of Poston Communications in Atlanta.

Keith Wewe, president-elect, is the director of client service and growth for Content Pilot in Dallas.

Elaine Seaward, secretary, is the marketing director for Stone Pigman Walther Wittmann LLC in New Orleans, La.

Susan Patton, treasurer, is a marketing coordinator for Nexsen Pruet in Charlotte, N.C.

Jennifer Malin, director of communications, is the director of marketing for Shumaker, Loop & Kendrick, LLP in Tampa, Fla.

Tom Helm, director of City Groups, is the marketing director for Rogers Towers, P.A. in Jacksonville, Fla.

Laura Kaminsky, director-elect of City Groups, is the business development manager for Broad and Cassel in Orlando, Fla.

Heather McCullough, director of membership, is a marketing coordinator for Nexsen Pruet in Charlotte, N.C.

Kathryn Whitaker, director-elect of membership, is marketing director for Brooks Pierce in Greensboro, N.C.

Karen Keene, director of sponsor relations, is the national public relations manager for Foley & Lardner LLP in Orlando, Fla.

Lori Rabinowitz, director of technology, is the marketing director for Berger Singerman in Fort Lauderdale, Fla.

Lee Watts, board member-at-large, is the marketing director for Elarbee Thompson in Atlanta.

Michael Webb, board member-at-large, is the marketing director for Gardere Wynne Sewell LLP in Dallas.

Sharon Self, board member-at-large, is the marketing director for Gallivan White & Boyd, P.A. in Greenville, S.C.

Jill Huse, board member-at-large, is the marketing director for Moore & Van Allen in Charlotte, N.C.

"Last year was a game-changer for our industry, and LMA has adapted appropriately to help our members be successful in this evolving environment," said Monica Smith, LMA Southeastern president. The Legal Marketing Association is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to serving the needs and maintaining the professional standards of the men and women involved in marketing within the legal profession. The Southeastern Chapter serves members in 10 states: Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Louisiana, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee and Texas.
