Bridge at Spur 408 and I-20 will be closed Saturday

Repairs that began last November will finally be completed now that temperatures and weather have improved.

— Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) maintenance crews are taking advantage of the break in this winter’s weather. Repairs to the bridge deck at Spur 408 and I-20 which began last November will finally be completed now that temperatures and weather have improved.

Crews will be closing the exit ramp from southbound Spur 408 to westbound I-20 on Saturday, February 27 from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. Message boards announcing the ramp closure have been placed to notify the public in advance.

Motorists traveling on Spur 408 that wish to head west on I-20 will be detoured eastbound on I-20 to the Cedar Ridge exit where they can turn left on to westbound I-20.
