Nine Dallas-Fort Worth area galleries to exhibit at Dallas Art Fair


Visitors may visit and purchase art from renowned art dealers and experts from across the United States and Great Britain.

The Dallas Art Fair, returning to Dallas February 5-7, has announced that 15 leading galleries based in Texas will be exhibiting at the 2010 Fair. These noted modern and contemporary art dealers will join exhibitors from across the United States, Great Britain, and Canada at the Dallas Art Fair, bringing the total to more than 50 exhibitors showcasing paintings, sculpture, drawings, prints, and photographs from post war artists.

“With well-established Dallas galleries such as Barry Whistler exhibiting alongside London dealer Tim Taylor, the Dallas Art Fair will be a rare opportunity to view the work of some of our best local artist and galleries in a broader national and international context,” said Chris Byrne, co-founder of the Dallas Art Fair.

The Dallas Art Fair will take place February 5-7, 2010 at the Fashion Industry Gallery. A preview gala will be held on Thursday evening, February 4, benefiting Booker T. Washington High School for the Performing and Visual Arts. From mid-morning to early evening over the three days of the fair, visitors may visit and purchase art from renowned art dealers and experts from across the United States and Great Britain.

I asked what a Steakburger is and the friendly staff stated "it is a very high grade of lean beef that is hand-crafted" thin on the edges and thicker in the middle. This makes for carmelization on the edges and a juicy center. The Hawaiian is a must eat on the custard menu. I will definitely be bringing my friends!
