Best karaoke venue in Dallas-Fort Worth: A Great Notion

I've been to karaoke bars from here to oklahoma, to boston. a Great Notion is always home for me. the bar is the "hole in the wall" atmosphere. very casual. they've got one pool table, a dart league, a small dance floor that gets many a dancer when a good song is on. they do karaoke from thursday through sunday, each night having it's own feel. the system is not the best in town, but if anyone can win an indy race with a studebaker, it's Rhonda Rocx! she parties with ya, she dances with ya, she'll sing with ya if you ask. and she does a birthday song for the fellas that they'll never forget. and for the singers, you always feel appreciated when you're done singing. if you've never been here, and you love to sing, you should make a trip.

I would like to say Thank you for letting us be a part of your contest and No it isn't really about me. It is about having some of the best people for customers! We have people from all over the country and a few from other countries (China, U.K., Australia etc) that come see us. Our main group of regular customers is very eclectic and everyone gets along and they are so much fun. We have generations of customers as our lovely Sylvia has owned the bar for nearly 30 years and everyone loves her.Our people ROCK!!! Thank you, Rhonda/rocx

Yes RhondaRocx does rock no big surprise to me that she won hands down , crushed her nearest competitor, no need to name names, but with a heart as big as Texas, and a personality that lights up a room not to mention cute as a button.....sure fired winner says it all, always Rockin FocxyRocxy to me :)

A Great Notion is a wonderful place for anyone that enjoys "singing to their own tune". As a professional musician I have been very surprised every time I go to hear some singers that could have probably gone professional if they had wanted. Even if they don't have professional quality voices, Rhonda makes sure that EVERY singer is the "star of the show", and her talent for allowing the singers to feel comfortable is amazing. Anyone that goes to A Great Notion will have a wonderful evening, and be very glad they took the time to try it out.
