Dallas attorney Rob Hoffman named one of the top business defense attorneys in North Texas
Rob Hoffman is a partner at Gardere Wynne Sewell.
DALLAS Gardere Wynne Sewell LLP announced today that partner Rob Hoffman was recently named one of North Texas’ top business defense attorneys. Hoffman is one of 15 attorneys profiled in “The Defenders,” a special section published in the May 14 edition of the Dallas Business Journal.
To compile “The Defenders” list, Dallas Business Journal editors solicited nominations in search of attorneys who, by reputation and results, are the best at defending and protecting their corporate clients against lawsuits. The list is comprised of the most formidable and accomplished business-defense lawyers. These attorneys also give back by serving as leaders in civic, professional, and community organizations.
“Rob is unlike any trial lawyer I've ever met,” says Daniel S. Schulz, general counsel – North America with Cunningham Lindsey. “He has this innate ability to work with people and get them to appreciate his client's point of view, and he does it all with a sense of humor and dogged determination to achieve the best ethical outcome for his client.”
Steve Good, Gardere’s managing partner, agrees. “This recognition from the DBJ is a testament not only to Rob’s talents as a corporate defender but also to our entire litigation team,” he says. “Our litigators form an extraordinarily talented group with the results to prove it.”
“My father, two uncles, and various first cousins were lawyers,” Hoffman says. “On the other side of the family, my mother gave business executives welcome doses of common sense solutions to their business problems and speech coaching. With this backdrop, what choice did I have? I was birthed to solve business problems through common sense, strategic thinking, and speech-making – the definition of a litigator.”
