DFW’s Ultimate Best: Dining Part 1
Eat your heart out.

Lots of media groups around town have best-of lists. In fact, it's pretty much required. But, we wondered, how could we as a relative new kid on the block do something that was different from the other gazillion lists out there?
Nomination sources
Then we realized what Dallas / Fort Worth needed: One best-of to rule them all: DFW's Ultimate Best. The only way to be nominated for our list is to have been named the best by another newspaper, magazine, or website. Your ticket to our dance is someone else's award -- and now our users will settle all debate by voting for DFW's Ultimate Best. Write-ins are allowed.
Below, you'll see the nominees for dining categories. You can find a link to all the voting categories on the DFW Ultimate Best Hubpage. You can vote once daily in each category until June 10. Note that whenever possible we provided a link to the business' Pegasus News profile page so you can learn more about them. Businesses with logos in the poll have purchased premium profiles on Pegasus News.
Winners get ultimate bragging rights; a victory sign; and an Ultimate Best badge on their Pegasus News profile.
Note that a free Pegasus News user account is required for voting. If you are not yet registered, you can do so by clicking here.
You can vote in as many or few categories as you like. Note that there are a few categories that we included in multiple sections (like dining and nightlife). You can still only vote once per category per day.
Continue on to the next section of the dining poll.
If your business is a finalist, click here to find out how to promote and get your customers to vote.

Why did a Thai restaurant end up on the "Best Chinese" list? And isn't the Mansion technically "southwestern", not French. And someone left off Hotel St. Germain for French food. If you have not been there, I say it's as French as French gets, complete with white-gloved French waiters.

Sweet Temptations at Skillman & Audelia has the best soup, and the best french fries, and the best desserts. They have chocolate soufflés on Tuesday nights that are out of this world!
