Video interview: Jeff Hoferer and Bryan Massey discuss Dallywood: the TV pilot
Just for the record, I was not naked while conducting this interview.
There's a lot going on in the lives of Dallas-based filmmaking funnymen Jeff Hoferer and Bryan Massey. Jeff is a relative newlywed (having tied the knot last May), while Bryan is about to be a daddy for the first time. He and his sweetie are expecting in early December.
Acting together (as they have a habit of doing), Hoferer and Massey recently landed a TV commercial for Lane Furniture, in which the camera finds them sitting on a sofa in front of the TV — which is entirely fitting, given that that's where the spend a lot of their time as characters in their episodic web series, Dallywood.
Jeff and Bryan dropped by Pegnews World HQ to break some REALLY BIG NEWS about Dallywood, which is this: They're going to work on a new episode this Friday.
However, instead of simply diving back into another season of webisode shorts, the boys are throwing caution to the wind, counting their chickens before they hatch, adding too many cooks to the broth (?), and reaching for the brass ring by producing this episode in the format of a half-hour television pilot, in the hopes that it will lead to a TV contract.
Listen in on our conversation for further details.
Oh, and regardless of what Bryan says: I was not naked while conducting this interview. (I was wearing a thong.)
