Dallas mosaic artist’s work to be featured on Yard Crashers on DIY Network on Monday

Representatives say the show will also eventually air on HGTV.

DALLAS — Dallas mosaic artist Billy Michaelis will have his exclusive work featured on and upcoming episode of Yard Crashers on the DIY Network. His one-of-a-kind mosaic created out of thousands of Italian glass pieces will be featured on the show.

Michaelis designed and constructed a 10,000 piece Bisazza glass abstract mosaic mural based on the artwork of the lucky homeowners chosen to receive this complete yard makeover. Bisazza is the crème de la crème of glass, straight from the glass motherland, Italy. 1Design Group, along with 75 people, participated in the two-day process. Michaelis’s mosaic is a main feature. The episode premiers on October 11, 2010 at 9 p.m. CST on the DIY network, and will re-air multiple times afterward.
