Deep Ellum Outdoor Market comes back on Saturday

It'll be the last checkpoint in a Smart Car Butterfly Rally set to pass through Deep Ellum between 11:30 a.m. and noon.

DALLAS — The next Deep Ellum Outdoor Market will be held September 18, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. in the third installation of a monthly event. The market looks to improve on its first two events by increasing from 27 booths to 36 booths, anticipating more than 1,000 people over six hours.

All vendors will be local businesses and artists selling their products, which range from vintage clothes and accessories to Texana Books and hand-crafted items to unique hair extensions. A full list of vendors is available online. Live music will be provided by Dallas-based band the Sun Downers.

The Deep Ellum Outdoor Market is also proud to announce that this month they have teamed up with the Dallas Green Festival at the Texas Discovery Gardens at Fair Park in a celebration of fun events east of Downtown Dallas. Separated by one stop on DART Rail’s Green Line, both events look to draw visitors to Dallas’ Historic Arts and Entertainment District and Dallas’ National Historic Landmark.

DEOM will also be the last checkpoint in a Smart Car Butterfly Rally set to pass through Deep Ellum between 11:30 a.m. and noon, ultimately ending at the Dallas Green Festival at the Texas Discovery Gardens with a mass tropical butterfly release.
