Red Mango to hold a Franchise Event at Dallas HQ on October 5
Oooooh maybe they'll give out free fro-yo.
Red Mango, the fastest-growing retailer of all-natural nonfat frozen yogurt and fresh fruit smoothies, is expanding in its own backyard. The company, which is headquartered in Dallas, will host a special Local Market Franchise Event at its corporate headquarters on Oct. 5.
Red Mango has six locations in the area, including Dallas, Plano and Allen, that opened in the last year. Now the company is targeting additional cities in D-FW, including Fort Worth, Frisco, Denton, McKinney, Highland Park, Coppell, Arlington, Southlake, Keller, Rockwall and Grapevine.
“With our headquarters in Dallas, and the way the city has embraced our stores, product and atmosphere, the time is right to continue expansion in D-FW,” said James Franks, vice president of franchising for Red Mango. “Guests constantly ask in our stores and on social media when are we bringing Red Mango to their city. With almost six million people in the area, there is a huge appetite for our product.”
Red Mango is seeking qualified prospects to open additional locations in North Texas and plans to select five to seven new franchisees to open 15 - 20 new stores.
The company, which reached 80 stores in 25 states in three years, was named #4 on Restaurant Business magazine’s “Future 50” list this summer of fastest-growing chains. Red Mango credits the achievement to consumers who want healthier food options as well as business owners who want successful investment opportunities.
“Our current Dallas franchise owners have done an amazing job of developing stores, serving guests and getting involved in the community,” said Franks. “And Red Mango continues to defy the economy by combining health, taste and style to deliver products that not only taste great but are good for you too.”
Expanding as well is the Red Mango menu and store format. The menu now offers 30 flavors of frozen yogurt, 20 varieties of fresh fruit smoothies, made-to-order fruit parfaits and all-natural probiotic iced teas. And the store footprint now includes traditional stores, self-serve stores, co-branded locations, kiosks and more, each designed to better reach and engage guests.
Red Mango has signed 40 new franchisees across the U.S. to open 100 locations in 2010 alone. The popularity of the brand’s signature tart frozen yogurt and the innovations and the support of a seasoned management team have put the company on track to reach as many as 550 locations across the country in five years.
People interested in meeting with Red Mango executives in Dallas from 12:30 – 3 p.m. on Oct. 5 can visithttp://www.redmangofranchising.com/event to RSVP.
