Tiffany Derry of Dallas wins Top Chef Season 7 Fan Favorite
She didn't make it to the finals but she will win $10K.
Chef Tiffany Derry won the "Fan Favorite" award for Season 7 of Top Chef, as noted on Derry's Facebook page:
"I Won Fan Favorite thanks to the love and support from all of you guys... thank you so so so much for all of the support and encouragement, ya'll are the BEST! God is so Good!"
The fan favorite was reportedly announced on the Bravo talk show, Watch What Happens Live on Thursday night.
Derry's online announcement was met with responses such as "So so deserved. You should have won the show. You were amazing and put out delicious dishes. Here's to winning All Stars!" and "You should have been Top Chef and happy that you were given Fan Favorite because you deserve that and more!"
Derry, the chef at Go Fish Ocean Club in North Dallas, was a popular contestant on Season 7 who got ousted from the show on September 1, the week before the three finalists were chosen.
As was announced on the Top Chef Reunion show on Wednesday, Derry will be back on the network as part of the cast of the follow-up show, Top Chef All Stars, along with fellow Dallas Top Chef alumnae Casey Thompson and Tre Wilcox.
As Fan Favorite, she'll win $10,000.

Yep glad that Tiffany won fan favorite she should have been in Signapore instead of Kelly but as usual the black contestants never make it to the finals Tiiffany was always placing high with dishes unlike Kelly but the one dish that was it off she went I wonder why.

I must say I hate how Bravo didn't announce the fan favorite during the Top Chef reunion show. Totally lame ploy to get people to watch yet another Top Chef-related program. Bless the Internet for saving me from that.

I knew it was gonna be Tiffany... if it wasnt i was going to be really shocked. She's got that likable quality that many chefs dont have... plus she can cook. Couldn't see anyone else getting it at all... maybe Steven if he had lasted longer loooool. We never got to see a lot of the prank war during the show, watching it in the reunion was hilarious, Angelo really has a funny side hahaha.

Tiffany was completive, but she also was soo sweet. Like Kenny said, it was her smile, but more than that she had a southern charm. Congratulations on her wedding, too!

Tiffany was my favorite. She had lots of personality, she was helpful to other chefs and she definitely deserved to win.
