Pizza Inn appoints Culinary Operations Manager Andy Wittman
Former Field Business Consultant for the company rises up the ranks.
THE COLONY Pizza Inn, Inc. appointed new Culinary Operations Manager Andy Wittman, which we take note of because Pizza Inn is based in nearby The Colony.
Wittman began working with Pizza Inn over two years ago as a field business consultant. Wonder what a field business consultant does. To the release:
Wittman recently served as Pizza Inn's Field Business Consultant with 39 franchised units under his care. Prior to that, he worked as a Customer Service Manager with the company. He also served as District Manager for Double Dave's Pizzaworks and Culinary Lead Manager of Chili's Grill and Bar.
Pretty impressive rise up the ranks. Not so crazy about Double Dave's, but in the chain restaurant world, Chili's is a big deal. That's some Brinker International training. As for his education:
Wittman is a graduate of Baltimore International Culinary College with an Associate of the Arts degree in Professional Cooking and Restaurant Management. In addition, he attends American Culinary Federation of Continuing Education Seminars. He is both Serve Safe and TABC certified.
The release describes Pizza Inn as "an international pizza chain recognized for serving a variety of fresh, popular traditional and specialty pizzas." It's an international chain! It also quotes Charlie Morrison, president and CEO, as saying that they're "extremely excited to have Andy join the culinary team."
