Pegasus News was down for several hours on Wednesday after our hosting facility in Irving lost power and consequently affected your ability to access our website. We apologize for the delay and assure you that we're back.

As Pegasus News is an Internet-only company, having our site down greatly affected our afternoon. Our full-time staffers were left to stare out into 635 traffic, curse the hot weather, play with the toys that PR people gave us, and scan gossip sites against our will. Here's what our afternoon looked like:

When The Server Goes Down: The Movie

On Wednesday, August 10, the host facility for Pegasus News lost power. It was down for more than 6 hours, meaning that the eager news team at Pegasus News wasn't able to access the website -- or essentially do any work. Here's how we coped. (Read: Not well.)

Thank the sweet gods of the Internet that's over, or else John might still be climbing those damn stairs.
