Take your family to meet Dallas Mavericks players Friday afternoon
At 6 p.m., crowds can see the Mavericks practice.
DALLAS Two days before the Dallas Mavericks' first preseason game, fans can attend a free, family-friendly festival called WinterFest on Friday, December 16 from 3-5 p.m.
Plenty of new faces will be there, like the Mavericks' new player Lamar Odom, as well as old favorites Jason Kidd, Dirk Nowitzki, and others.
The whole thing sounds like a blast: There's ice skating on the AT&T Plaza from 2:30-5:30 p.m., with free skate rental. Inside the American Airlines Center, big screens will show holiday movies like Shrek The Halls and Merry Madagascar, and Santa will be on hand to hear if you've been naughty or nice.
From 4-5 p.m., Mavericks players will sign autographs. At 6 p.m., crowds can stay for the Mavericks' practice.
