Video recap: Dallas Mavericks fall to Oklahoma City Thunder in preseason opener

The defending NBA Champion Dallas Mavericks took the court for their first preseason game Sunday night against Oklahoma City Thunder and were defeated 106-92. Kevin Durant led all scorers with 21 points for the Thunder.
The Mavs' Dominique Jones and Roddy Beaubois scored 17 points and newly acquired Lamar Odom scored 14 points, taking advantage of the opportunity while Dirk Nowitzki and Jason Kidd were held out of the game, a decision made by Mavericks Coach Rick Carlisle.
With only one more preseason game before the NBA season starts, the Dallas Mavericks are poised to defend their title on Christmas Day against the team they defeated in the NBA Finals, the Miami Heat.
